Set in 1972, the game’s storyline starts in the Third World War with the Soviet Invasion in the United States. In single-player, Red Alert 2 features the same main two campaigns which make their appearance in the first game: the Soviets and the Allies. The game can also be played with multiplayer using CnCNet. It runs on Microsoft Windows both on single and multiplayer mode.
